Healthy food recipes for children?

im doing a GCSE task for child development in school. the brief is to design and make a selection of foods (about 4 things, not meals) that a child can assist in making and is healthy and a child will want to try it. im stuck for idea? it doesnt have to be a meal it can be a single thing, e.g, home made chicken nuggets. i have to think of things which i can use with as little salt as possible. any parents out there who know some simple recipes for a simple healthy food a child can help me make? thankss.. xHealthy food recipes for children?
Tinny Pizzas:





Prep time: about 15 minutes





Ingredients:





鈥? standard-sized bagel, cut in half


鈥omato sauce


鈥hredded mozzarella cheese


鈥oppings like diced green pepper, chopped onion, or chopped tomato (whatever you like)


鈥easonings like oregano, basil, and pepper


Utensils:





鈥ven (You'll need help from your adult assistant.)


鈥nife


鈥aking sheet


Directions:





1.Set the oven to low heat.


2.Spread tomato sauce on each bagel half.


3.Sprinkle the shredded cheese all over the tomato sauce on each half.


4.Add your favorite toppings.


5.Put a light sprinkling of seasonings on each half.


6.Put your bagel halves on the baking sheet.


7.Bake in the oven on low heat for about 5 to 8 minutes. You'll know they're done when the cheese is bubbly.


8.Let cool for a minute, then enjoy your tiny pizzas!

4 boneless, skinless, chicken breasts


1 egg, beaten


6 oz. mozzarella


1 1/2 c. heavy cream


1 tsp. parsley flakes


2/3 c. parmesan cheese


1/2 c. seasoned breadcrumbs


1/4 c. vegetable oil








Directions:





Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.


Dip chicken in egg. Then dip chicken in the seasoned breadcrumbs and coat evenly.


Heat oil in a skillet over medium high heat and brown chicken until it is no longer pink in the middle.


Place chicken in a casserole dish.


Top each piece of chicken with 1 1/2 oz. of mozzarella cheese.


Mix together heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and parsley flakes.


Pour cream mixture over the chicken.


Bake for 25 minutes.








Healthy Taco


12 EatingWell Crispy Taco Shells (recipe follows)


Lean %26amp; Spicy Taco Meat (recipe follows)


3 cups shredded romaine lettuce


3/4 cup shredded reduced-fat Cheddar cheese


3/4 cup diced tomatoes


3/4 cup prepared salsa


1/4 cup diced red onion





To assemble, fill each taco shell with (in any order): a generous 3 tablespoons taco meat, 1/4 cup lettuce, 1 tablespoon cheese, 1 tablespoon tomato, 1 tablespoon salsa, 1 teaspoon onion
my daughter is 5 the food she loves is rice and steamed broccoli . I think maybe some steamed broccoli with cheese sauce over rice !!! that would be healthy also !!! rice , dairy , and vegetables !! quick and easy !!!!
